Install the driver software of your mobile on your desktop/laptop . Do not connect your mobile at this point. Once the driver software is installed you can connect either using mobile software directly or by using dial up connection.For accessing Internet via mobile software(like Nokia PC suite) you just require APN which is gprsppsmum for prepaid and gprsmtnlmum for postpaid connection. Leave the user name and password blank. Dial Number is *99#. For conneting using Dial up connection then follow given steps. Now go to Start >Settings>Control Panel>Phones& modems Select ‘Modem’ tab on Phone and Modem Window. Select the installed modem and click on Properties. MTNL IPTV service

TV service delivered using IP (Internet Protocol) technology by encoding the TV channels in IP format and delivered to your TV using a Set Top Box (STB). The IPTV Service also includes Video on Demand Services which is similar to watching Video CD's / DVD's using a VCD / DVD player. Movies, Instructional Videos and other content shall be available to customers in the IPTV Services. All the three services work together. 1. Normal Telephone Service 2. Broadband Internet service 3. IPTV service. TV and Content Head End - Where the TV channels are received and encoded. Also other content (Video's) are stored at Head End. MTNL has signed agreement for this with M/s Aksh Broadband. Delivery network - Which is MTNL's Broadband network and MTNL's telephone line. (Landline). Set Top Box (STB) The Set Top Box is required at the customer location for converting the IP signal back to TV signal. The STB shall be connected between MTNL Broadband Modem and customer's TV. The STB shall be provided by M/s Aksh in case of existing Triband. M/s Aksh shall also provide single port ADSL modem, in case of IPTV provisioning on either existing landline or on copper pair without landline. To avail this service Triband is not a must. It can be provisioned with or without land line (exclusively on copper pair).

This service allows the subscriber to place calls from any normal access interface to any destination number and have the cost of these calls charged to the account specified by the virtual card calling (VCC) number, which does not refer either to the calling line or the called line. Virtual card calling service is an access code based service. All Virtual card calls are preceded by the access code 160222. After dialling the access code, the subscriber is prompted to enter the virtual card number followed by the destination number . The virtual cards can be used for making Local, National and international calls. 1. Card Number : Card number is a 10-digit number printed in the confidential area and becomes visible when the card is opened up. Since the card number is electronically printed, no body else knows it. 2. PSN Number : It is a number printed on the face of VCC card. It should be used for any correspondence regarding VCC service/complaints. 3. Validity Period : Validity Period is the period up to which the VCC card is valid.For using the card, subscriber must activate the card by dialing Activation Code 1609 22. The validity period starts from the date of activation of the card.
